Applications

Step Stackers are a fast and easy way to build steps, planters and retaining walls for your home. Made from quality concrete they are a practical, long lasting landscape material that will compliment your patio landscaping treatments.

Installation

For large landscaping projects measure and draw a plan for your Step Stacker installation. Excavation is not always required. For steps or planters placed on an existing walkway, patio or poolside simply position the Step Stacker and fill accordingly.

Single Step Stacker
To construct a single step using Step Stacker requires only one stacker unit. Fill with suitable granular material and top with clean sand and six Decor paving stones to create tread.
Double Step Stacker
For wider step applications place two Step Stacker units side by side to create a 58” wide step or landing. Fill with suitable granular material and top with clean sand and Decor paving stones to create the tread. For wider steps simply add more stacker units.
Two Rise Step Stacker
To build a two rise step three Step Stackers are required. Fill with suitable granular material and top with clean sand and Decor paving stones to create the tread.
Double Riser
Use this system to expand the width of the step to suit your needs. Increase the height by adding stackers. Each step will increase the height by 6”. Fill with suitable granular material and top with clean sand and Decor paving stones to create the tread.
Terraced Steps
Create an attractive and easy to install terraced stairway with Step Stacker. To create this stairway each Step Stacker should be installed by placing the stacker unit partially on the Step Stacker below and
partially on the excavated ground. Arrange Step Stacker in curves, on angles or in a straight line to suit your special landscaping needs. To calculate the number of stacker units required divided the total rise by 6”.
Planters
Step Stacker makes a durable, economical and easy to install planter. Simply fill stacker unit with a base layer of gravel and earth and potting soil for a unique planter. Units can be stacked to desired height or terraced to suit your landscaping needs. Combine steps and planters to create an attractive stairway.
Retaining Wall
Use Step Stacker to create retaining walls. Design your retaining wall to suit your landscaping needs. Versatile Step Stacker allows you to incorporate steps and planters together with one simple and easy to install system. Planting feature brings your retaining wall to life with shrubs or plants.
Planters
Fill Step Stacker with a base layer of gravel and add clean top soil. A two Step Stacker height is recommended for a successful garden.
Retaining Walls and Steps
Set the bottom row of stackers on a stable compact base and level to the desired slope. It is recommended that you place units on a two degree slope for steps. Repeat the process according to your landscaping plan.
Steps
Position steps in the desired pattern. Fill the units with a granular material compact and top with a layer of clean sand. Leave enough room for the thickness of the paving stones so that the top of the paver extends 1/4” above the Step Stacker unit allowing for settling. Place paving stones into unit to create a stair tread.
