Versatile

Sharp or wide, convex or concave curves are formed by simply turning the units without eliminating the interlocking feature. By reversing the elements, flat faced structures such as steps or vertical rock faced retaining walls, and free standing walls may be built. The units that have been filled with topsoil can then be planted with creepers, ground covers, shrubs or flowers.
A Plantable Living Wall
The unique unit design allows you to make plants part of your wall, and the wall part of your beautifullandscape design. Watch your investment grow.
Durability
Concrete will not rot and weaken your wall over time, and no chemical preservatives are required which could affect your environment.
Mortarless Interlocking System
The units are simply stacked up without mortar to provide a cost effective, do-it-yourself system.
Layout Flexibility
The half moon interlock easily handles convex and concave curves, and the wall angle can vary from vertical to shallow slopes. Ideal for 2 ft. planters to 20 ft. retaining walls.

Step 2
Planning a TERRAFORCE Wall

Develop a precise plan for your Terraforce Wall by analyzing your site, noting slopes, drainage and shape of the wall. Measure the length and the vertical height to obtain the surface area and thus the number of units required.

NOTE: Please ensure that you comply with local building regulations before starting. When in doubt, contact your local supplier for advice on design and construction.

Step 3
Preparation

Prepare a level foundation, gravel or concrete as directed by site conditions. Compacted gravel foundations are usually sufficient for structures not higher than 4 feet. On sloping sites the foundation may be stepped by 8 inches at intervals to suit the slope.

Step 4
Installation

Ensure that the first row of units is accurately aligned and each unit is absolutely level, (use a builders line or level). When placed on a concrete foundation a small amount of mortar under each block of the first row will enable accurate levelling. Proceed to dry stack further layers of Terraforce, stepping back as required while constantly checking alignment.

Step 5

Specifications:
Size: 13-3/4"x11"x8"
Weight: 48.5lbs
Area: 0.63 of a sq. ft. (1/6 sq. ft.)
Cube Quantity:
60 units per cube = 37.5 face sq. ft.
Colours: Natural,Earthblend

Backfill and Drainage

As each row is completed
the blocks should be filled with topsoil and lightly tamped. Suitable backfill should be placed behind the blocks and be well compacted. At the base of the wall behind the first few rows a granular material and drainage pipe should be installed to drain any moisture away from the base of the wall.
